Every single machine that enters our yard goes through a rigorous 120-point inspection. This is where we test and inspect everything on each machine from the slew ring, engine, electrics, the boom and blade to the hydraulic rams, fluids and much more!
Reconditioning standards for every requirement
PLANTMAX provides refurbishment in three standards of CORE, PRO and ULTRA. The main differences between them are the level to which the machine is reconditioned and the warranty period. This means that you as the customer can choose the right package for your individual operating conditions and requirements.
The following provides an initial overview of the details and the differences between CORE, PRO and ULTRA.
OUR RECONDITIONING STANDARDS
Renew, Restore, Upgrade
The CORE package includes the following refurbishment measures and equipment features:
- Used equipment serviced and tested in accordance with the manufacturer‘s recommendations
- Engine, drivetrain and hydraulic system tested in accordance with the manufacturer‘s specifications
- Battery functional and health test conducted
- Boom & undercarriage checked for condition and any cracks / repairs
- Serviceable tyres or tracks with at least 60 percent tread depth
- Drivetrain test
- Paintwork refreshed to manufacturer’s original colours & replace decals if needed
- Full cab functions test – work lights, heater, joystick controls, instrument panel, seat condition and function
- Lifting machinery is fully tested in line with LOLER regulations and is given a new 12 month certificate
- Maximum wear 40 percent
- Operating hours counter checked
- 500 hour Service – engine oil and filters, fuel filters, air filters
All components are thoroughly checked according to the PLANTMAX Certified Guideline and if required replaced with new parts to meet compliance with EU regulation
Warranty: 3 months/250 hours
The PRO package includes the CORE features mentioned above as well as the following points:
- Battery health of more than 70 percent
- Steering axle checked in accordance with the manufacturer‘s specifications
- Serviceable tyres or tracks with more than 80 percent tread depth
- Hydraulic pump pressure tested
- Buckets refurbished with new teeth or cutting edges fitted
- Undercarriage rollers & sprockets replaced where less than 80 percent remaining
- Re-painting in original manufacturers colours and decals
- Maximum wear 20 percent
- 1000 hour Service – engine oil and filters, fuel filters, air filters, hydraulic filters and fan belt
All components are thoroughly checked according to the PLANTMAX Certified Guideline and if beneath medium wear levels are replaced with new parts to meet compliance with EU regulation
Warranty: 6 months/500 hours
The ULTRA package includes the PRO features mentioned above as well as the following points:
- Bodywork as near to Brand new as you’ll get!
- Brand new battery
- Brand new tracks or a full set of new tyres
- Upgraded work lighting with Hella 3000 lumen spotlights
- Brand New set of digging buckets, or pallet forks on lifting equipment
- Undercarriage rollers & sprockets replaced where less than 95 percent remaining
- Excavator quick hitch / Telehandler front carriage refurbished or replaced
- Full re-painting in original manufacturers colours and decals
- Maximum wear 5 percent
- New replacement fluids – hydraulic oil change and coolant change
- 2000 hour Service – engine oil and filters, fuel filters, air filters, hydraulic oil and filters, fan belt and drive / transmission oils
All components are thoroughly checked according to the PLANTMAX Certified Guideline and if beneath medium wear levels are replaced with new parts to meet compliance with EU regulation
Warranty: 12 months/1000 hours
